Hannah Coleman loves fairies, playing with dolls, stickers and colouring in. Her favourite colour is pink. When she was just nine months old, her parents, Kim and Todd, became concerned that she wasn’t trying to sit up or crawl and she seemed to struggle with her balance. They didn’t waste any time.
By the time she was five years old Hannah was able to walk using a walking frame and she wanted to join her sister Olivia riding a bike. So Kim and Todd brought her to TAD for a Freedom Wheels assessment.
Kim says, “The bike’s been brilliant! She could not only ride, she can ride and play with her sister and it’s something she can do with other kids too. We have a park near our home and she loves to ride off on her own.”
“Thanks to the exercise she’s been getting, her hips have improved which means that we can delay surgery.”
Freedom Wheels give children like Hannah the chance they deserve to thrive and grow into independent, self-confident individuals.
