Scott says, ‘the 10kms isn’t enough of a challenge!’

Mitchel came to Freedom Wheels in 2006 and received his first bike on his 3rd birthday. He instantly loved it, this was the first time he could move himself around any distance. Since then Mitch has graduated through a series of well-loved Freedom Wheels bikes. His recent bike is a custom trike made by Fred, one of our volunteers.

At 8 years old, Mitch joined the Southern Cross Cycling Club in Sutherland who gifted him a odometer which is about to tick over to a total 6,000km! Mitch has ridden his bikes in junior cycling races at Mt Panaorma, Goulburn and Sydney.

The Olsen family all bought bikes and enjoy long family outings cycling together. Together they have ridden it all over Sydney, Canberra, the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Melbourne, the south and central coasts and the central west.

Well done Mitch!
