Acho ‘Short Rider’ Bikes

Acho ‘Short Rider’ Bikes were designed specifically for people of short stature / skeletal dysplasia. The frame geometry is such that the rider is able to transfer easily on and off.

Imported from Poland, these bikes were designed specifically for people of short stature / skeletal dysplasia. With the aid of an EU Grant, a special study was commissioned at the Institute of Innovation and Technology, Bialystok University of Technology to create these bikes.

The frame geometry is such that the rider is able to transfer easily on and off, importantly being able to place their feet on the ground when coming to a stop. The pedal crank length, seat to pedal and handle bar ratios have all been carefully tested undergoing numerous prototypes prior to release.
